We first tried and loved these meals on our backcountry camping experience in the Cape Breton Highlands in August 2025. Tried the Hungarian Goulash on a weekend hike —absolutely loved it! Super flavourful, easy to make, and packed with energy. I really appreciate that it’s vegan, gluten-free, and made with clean, non-GMO ingredients. Perfect for outdoor adventures and gentle on the stomach. I actually find the sampler pack just the right size for lunch on the trail.That full meal is a bit much mid-day. I am with volunteer SAR and keep a couple in my pack that sustain me for a 24 hour period when required. I also like the vegan/gluten free rating. It allows me to share the food when required without offending anyone's dietary preferences.

First off this is a great company. They have very good communication and attentiveness to the client. The shipment was very well packaged and and slender compared to other brands. The food cooked up well and very tasty. I use these foods on day trips as a wildlife photographer so space is very limited in my pack.
